Valor is proud to lead the seed round of B2B SaaS AI startup, Saile.

Powerful initial traction with high signal customers for sales prospecting AI

KPMG recently highlighted Saile as the most advanced offering defining the future of sales. The startup automates one of the toughest frontiers major companies have today–prospecting. Early Fortune 500 customers for its ML/NLP platform include Schneider Electric, LPL Financial, Staples, JLL Commercial Real Estate, and Audacy.

Timing is everything

Saile’s AI is customized to the sales approach of enterprise sales executives, automating millions of potential customer interactions and turning them into company-specific intelligence to accelerate opportunities. Saile helps sales leaders effectively double and triple their teams’ effectiveness without adding headcount through its approach to intelligent digital labor. In today’s tight talent market, this is taking off.

Founders with deep sales prospecting domain experience

Nick Smith and Clive Cadogan, Saile

Saile is cofounded by seasoned enterprise sales veteran Nick Smith and technologist Clive Cadogan, MsC. Both founders had experienced the pains of manual prospecting. Nick spent the majority of his career in senior sales roles at companies like iHeartRadio, CBS Radio, and CBS News. Clive had worked in AI and ML in several scaling companies, including Udacity and Conversion, where he focused on this problem.  Both knew sales enablement solutions and AI applications aiming to eliminate manual tasks in the world of sales are incredibly common, but none have ever automated the entire prospecting lifecycle from research to delivery of actionable opportunities. During COVID, Nick and Clive worked side by side in a hotel room–masks on–to power through the first version of Saile.

“Every company wants more of the best salespeople. Every salesperson wants more deals. Where most companies have tried to “sales-enable” their way through this obstacle course, we’re focused on multiplying the best sales leaders with our personality-driven AI. We say if you really wish you had three more of your best salesperson, why not triple their power with Saile?” says Nick.

Ready for scaling AI sales prospecting

Nick and Clive bootstrapped Saile to well over $1M ARR when Valor met them and began a dialogue. “Valor really started adding value from the beginning. Just one example, Valor made a quick suggestion on how to focus our sales and it paid off the very next week in larger initial contracts.” Valor partner Jean-Luc van Hulst joins the board as Valor director. His prior experience scaling enterprise developer teams to over 100 through the software development firm he founded, Finalist, and his hands-on experience in AI make him an ideal partner for this team.

We’re excited about how this company shaping the future of professional sales by catalyzing the talent already on company teams. If your company has a multi-million dollar pipeline, try it for yourself with a demo.
