Qualifications

To qualify, the startup must:

01
Have a full-time CEO within a day’s drive of Atlanta
You do not need to be in Atlanta. You do need to be building within a day’s drive of it.
02
Be a visionary software product serving businesses
Businesses are your primary customer.
03
Have raised less than $200K
Preferably zero. We give extra points to fully bootstrapped startups.
04
Have revenue — at any level
There is no revenue floor. We count momentum — month-over-month sales growth exclusive of churn — as the highest-scoring revenue, not absolute amounts.

Valor will award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize in the Atlanta Tech Week virtual pitch. These founders will be invited to share their stories on a special episode of Signal South with Lisa Calhoun. You do not need to be in Atlanta to win — you do need to be building within a day’s drive of Atlanta to qualify for the Atlanta Tech Week Virtual Pitch awards. Select startups will need to pass a simple diligence process that verifies your revenue, customers and platform. The $1M will be invested in equity on a valuation mutually agreed to by founders and Valor. Valor reserves the right not to invest the $1M if no suitable application comes in during the Atlanta Tech Week Virtual Pitch.
